Trucker survey results show industry improvements

BOSTON-Results from a new survey of trucking companies show driver quality is improving slightly,thanks in part to six common management actions.The findings are from Liberty Mutual Group's 2006 truckers' survey.More than 80 percent of 240 trucking operations responded to the survey.Key findings show the median crash rate for 2006 was lower than the 2005 median crash rate.
