Integrating health promotion activities and workplace safely and health into a comprehensive program aimed at improving workers' overall health was the focus of a May 13 symposium hosted by the Center for Business and Public Policy at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.Until now,the center noted,workplace health protection programs have focused on workplace risks alone,while worksite-based health promotion efforts generally have addressed an employee's personal and lifestyle risk factors.The symposium's aim was to facilitate a dialogue about best practices and incentives for integrating the two.
