Washington-A new video from NIOSH uses a true story to show how wearing a personal flotation device can save lives in the fishing industry. The video, "Paul Revere: A Story of Survival in Bristol Bay," tells the story of a fishing crew that survived two hours in frigid Alaskan waters after its vessel capsized. Personal flotation devices allowed the fishermen to stay afloat as they made their way to shore.
