Effect of Newcastle and infectious bronchitis vaccines on systemic antibody responses in chickens

Infectious Bronchitis (IB) and Newcastle Disease (ND) cause great losses in poultry. Chickens were vaccinated simultaneously with Hitchner B1 vaccine Cevac~R in the left eye and H120 Cevac~R in the right eye at 1 day of age and with oral drop at 18 days. Another group was vaccinated with single ND Hitchner B1 Cevac~R at 1 day of age by ocular route and oral drop at 18 days . Sera were collected at 18 and 45 days of age for evaluation of antibody levels. There was no statistical difference in antibodylevels between chickens simultaneously given Newcastle and Infectious Bronchitis vaccines and those given a single ND vaccine on the basis of an immune response against NDV and IBV.
