Prior notification of a concentration (Case M.7962 -ChemChina/Syngenta)

On 23 September 2016, the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 by which the undertaking China National Chemical Corporation (China) acquires within the meaning of Article 3(l)(b) of the Merger Regula- tion control of the whole of the undertaking Syngenta AG (Switzerland) by way of purchase of shares.
