Gowan Company obtains rights to Dow AgroSciences' M-Pede and Scythe herbicides

Gowan Company LLC and Dow Agro-Sciences have reached an agreement to transfer rights of Dow's M-Pede (a mixture of oleic and linoleic acids as their potassium salts) and Scythe (pelargonic acid) herbicides to Gowan. M-Pede is an OMRI certified insecticide/fungicide that controls aphids, thrips and mites on a variety of crops including vegetables, grapes, tree fruits, tree nuts, cotton and ornamentals.
