Synthesis and Crystal Structures of Binuclear Metallocyclophane with N-Heterocyclic Carbene Linkage by the pi-pi Stacking Interaction

摘要

The synthesis and crystal structures of binuclear silver(I)and mercury(II)metallocyclophanes with N-heterocyclic carbene linkages by the pi-pi stacking interaction are described.Since the discovery of stable imidazoline-2-ylidene by Arduengo et al.in 1991,N-heterocyclic carbenes(NHCs)have received considerable attention due to their strong sigma-donor ability to complex with transition metals and main group elements.
