A method for identification of export quality high yielding basmati rice.

From multilocational trials for export-quality, high-yielding basmati rice, data on grain yield, physico-chemical characteristics and panel test scores were collected during kharif 1993 and 1994. Methods of analysing such data are considered. On thebasis of the data obtained, Pusa Basmati-1 was rated the best entry, followed by IET13548 and IET13549.
