On the Formulation of the Chronotomography Problem

A new setting of the “chronotomography” problem is proposed that makes it possible to recover the distribution of the emission coefficients in the cross section of a three-dimensional transient object as a function of two spatial variables and time. It is sufficient to collect the data necessary for the solution of the problem in the plane of the cross section considered. It is shown that the problem is reduced mathematically to the inversion of the three-dimensional Radon transformation. The numerical simulation of the problem of recovery of transient distribution of the local emission coefficients from the data of integral measurements is performed.
