摘要

A correlation between the quantum yield of photochemical transformations in rhodamine 6G and the intramolecular orientation of the dipole moments of optical transitions inducing these transformations is found. The presented results can be considered as further evidence in favor of the presence of subsystems within the pyronin group of xanthene dyes, which are weakly coupled with each other. These data are of interest for studies of the nature of the relation between spectral and photochemical properties of organic dye molecules.
