摘要

An expression for the point spread function (PSF) of a four-wave phase-conjugating mirror on thermal nonlinearity is obtained. The half-width of the PSF modulus (x1/2) is analyzed as a function of the thick-ness l of a nonlinear medium. It is shown that x1/2 ~ l3/2 for a small thickness of a nonlinear medium and x1/2~l1/2 for a large thickness. The PSF is studied as a function of the angular rotation of the pumping waves and the spatial structure of one of the pumping waves.
