Light intensity dependence of photorefraction in doped lithium niobate crystals

摘要

In this paper, the dependence of photorefractive light-induced scattering and two-beam mixing on the incident light intensity in doped lithium niobate crystals is studied experimentally. Our results show that optimum working light intensity exists in photorefractive amplification and optimum light amplification could be totally separated from the photorefractive light-induced scattering in double-doped lithium niobate crystals.
