Quantum statistical properties of Gazeau-Klauder coherent state of the anharmonic oscillator

We analyse quantum statistical properties of the Gazeau-Klauder coherent state of an anharmonic oscillator. It is shown that this state exhibits sub-Poissonian statistics as well as second-order quadrature squeezing and principal squeezing. We also evaluate quasiprobability distributions such as the Wigner function and Husimi Q function to demonstrate graphically nonclassical features of this state. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V.
