The approximate spectra of the linear dichroism Δk(ω′) in the range of fundamental absorption of K_(2)Ca(SO_(4))_(2)·H_(2)O crystals (syngenite), characterizing by the spectral point of birefringence sign inversion, Δn(ω_(i))=0, have been reconstructed on the basis of experimental dispersions of the birefringence Δn(ω) in the range of crystal's transparency. The spectra Δk(ω′) of syngenite are obtained and analyzed for several temperatures in the range 293-450 K for mechanically free and uniaxially stressed (σ=250 bar) samples.
