摘要

Using a three-step laser excitation approach, we have studied the Sr 5p(1/2)ns(1/2) (J=1) autoionizing states. We have employed an isolated-core excitation scheme to determine the energies, widths and quantum defects of 5p(1/2)ns(1/2) states for n ranging from 7 to 18. Substantial configuration interactions involved have been manifested in the observed line profiles of 5p(1/2)ns(1/2) autoionizing states as variations of their scaled widths. The investigation agrees well with previous studies. [References: 22]
