摘要

A study of the resonance fluorescence emitted .by a three-level atom driven by delayed laser pulses is presented with the main alm of investigating the effect of the pulse order on the fluorescence spectrum. The use of a short-pulse approximation, introducing a significant simplification in the problem, allows one to provide an explicit expression for the spectmm. Analytical results, obtained in the framework of the adiabatic intemction, am presented and compared with numerical calculations. As an example, an analyticaily solvable particular case is also presented.
