INTERNATIONAL VISION EXPO & CONFERENCE NEW YORK: INTERNATIONAL VISION EXPO EAST 2009

New York City is a place where you can always find something new, especially in the spring. This year, challenged by a down economy among other adverse factors, the Vision Council, together with Reed Exhibitions, decided it was time to do something new, make some changes, and improve their long running spring optical show. International Vision Expo East opened in New York City featuring a new floor plan. In response to suggestions provided by last year's attendees, the exhibition floor was reconfigured to allow easier and more convenient negotiation by crowds. Using a New York City theme with the names of well-known streets and avenues, it showed a new floor plan for visitors. Aisles, as suggested, were wider, and basically ran with no interference from one end of the hall to the other. The major aisles carried the flow of people easily and facilitated locating and buying for customers.
