摘要

The strain variations and change of refractive indices both induced by thermal effect are calculated in parallelepipedic crystals owing to the 4mm point group. The laser beam illuminating the crystal is responsible of the heating and is supposed to be a TE_(00) mode. The stress are calculated on the faces of the crystal and in the median planes. The expressions for the changes of refractive indices are also given.
