TYPICAL OF MAN Y-if not most-curators, I, as Curator of Ceramics and Glass at Colonial Williamsburg, am guilty of not being well rounded in my choice of the ceramic objects I encouraged the foundation to add to its collections. I urged Colonial Williamsburg to expand its holdings of Chelsea porcelain and British "delft" or delftware. The delft collection, of which we already had an excellent beginning, is now one of the most important in the world.
