Formit Ltd have successfully completed the installation and integration of two roll forming lines at the Durham works of P C Henderson Ltd the leading manufacturers of garage doors in the UK. The two lines produce the majority of new garage doors and include a pre-pierce line from coil with five punch stations, transfer conveyor system and a 32 pass roll former to produce the chassis (frame) of the garage door. The chassis section is a complex closed box profile with mitred edges at 45 degrees, which must be very accurate to accept a cast corner piece to produce the frame of the door.
