摘要

There are times when I wish I could be a fly on the wall watching a master clinician conduct an office visit with an obese patient. Over time those of us who care for these people develop an approach to counseling with which we are comfortable. However, because of the challenges inherent in trying to assist obese patients manage their weight, most of us are not comfortable that we have all the answers and are curious about how other experienced clinicians approach the care of these patients.
