Canadian oil and gas producers tracked by The oil & gas quarterly managed to maintain,and even slightly increase,liquids production in 2006,but natural gas production declined during the calendar year.Yet the inventory of producing oil and gas wells in canada continued to climb in 2006 as producers brought new flows on stream to fight those declines in gas production and add to liquids production in the high price environment early in 2006.
