When electricity prices plunged in 2002, rather than exit from small-scale distributed generation (dg), efficient energy resources ltd. decided that opportunity was knocking.however, opening the door required quickly adjusting the business plan the calgary firm had drawn up less than two years earlier. that plan called for producing electricity using small, distributed generators powered by gas at stranded remote or low-producing gas wells.
