摘要

An analysis of the heat flow values and other geophysical data on the northwestern part of the Pacific Ocean shows that the Shatsky Rise was formed near the spreading axis as an independent structure according to the crystallization model of the formation of the ocean floor.Kinematic calculations allowed us to conclude that the Shatsky Rise was formed near a point of plate triple junction.A numerical modeling of the origin of the Shatsky Rise within the frameworks of a thermochemical model was performed.The modeling showed that the light matter of the lower mantle being uplifted to the surface might present an actual magmatic source for the formation of the structure of the Shatsky Rise.
