MatrikonOPC's SNMP for OPC plugs IT into process control

MatrikonOPC has released a new Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to OPC* bridge to link the worlds of information technology (IT) and process control. Matrikon's SNMP Agent lets network administrators monitor and manage previously 'inaccessible' assets including digital control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLC) alongside conventional IT assets.
