Russia and Iran to Cooperate

Russia and Iran agreed to step up energy cooperation during a visit to Moscow by an Iranian team led by deputy oil minister Hos- sein Noghrehkar Shirazi. During the two-day trip, which ended Thursday, working groups from the two sides discussed oil, gas and petrochemicals schemes, Russian deputy energy minister Sergei Kudryashev said, adding that they plan to cooperate in “large-scale projects.”
