Ecopetrol Enters Brazil Block

Colombia's Ecopetrol has received authorization from Brazil's government to take a minority stake in an offshore exploration block. Ecopetrol says that the ANP, Brazil's oil industry regulator, approved the firm's 13% stake in Block BM-S-73, located off the coast of Rio de Janeiro in the Santos Basin.
