Chinese state giants China National Offshore Oil Corp. and Sinopec are report- edly eyeing Devon Energy’s stake in an oil project in Azerbaijan. Bloomberg reported last week that the firms are interested in Devon’s 5.6% interest in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil fields in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea, a pro- ject operated by UK supermajor BP.
