Spanish oil and gas firm Repsol said on Monday it had increased its reserves estima for the Perla field by at least 30% after drilling a second well at Venuezela’s largest gas field. The Perla 2 well in the Gulf of Venezuela will result in an increase in the initial estimate of 7 Tcf to 8 Tcf of gas based on the Perla 1X well announced in October 2009, Repsol said.
