South Korea's KNOC Seeks Acquisitions to Boost Oil Output

Korea National Oil Corp. (KNOC) is on the hunt for acquisitions this year, starting with a Latin American firm in the first quarter. A spokesman for the Korean state company said it wants to follow that up with much bigger purchases designed to help it meet government targets to triple oil production over the next three years.
