Saudi Aramco's US term clients are seeing their crude prices set for the first time against Asci, a relatively new sour crude marker developed by oil price publisher Argus. Asci, making its debut for cargoes load- ing in January, is replacing West Texas Intermediate (WTI) - used by competing price publisher Platts - which served for 15 years as the link to the spot market in Saudi Arabia's price formula.
