The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said in a conference call Wednesday that its criminal investigations division has launched an investigation against Enbridge, the operator of a crude oil pipeline which rup- tured in Michigan on Jul. 26. A spokesperson for the EPA did not provide details of the in- vestigation during the conference call.
