Lukoil has been told of ConocoPhillips’ plan to sell some of its 20% stake in Russia’s top independent oil producer, sources tell Oil Daily. The partners are even understood to have discussed a price for the possible purchase of the shares by Lukoil itself, but failed to reach agreement.
