CNOOC Starts Four Fields

CNOOC Ltd said last week it has brought on line four fields, including Jinzhou 25-1 South (JZ 25-1S) and Caofeidian 18-2, which both started up early. In average water depths of 25 meters in Liaodong Bay, the JZ 25-1S field started pro- ducing in mid-December and is expected to peak in 2012 with output of 20,000 b/d of oil and 53 MMcf/d of gas.
