Linn Buys East Texas Fields

Linn Energy said it has bought oil and gas properties in East Texas for $95 million. The properties are in Gregg and Rusk counties and will be financed with inter- nally generated cash flow and proceeds from borrowings under the company’s re- volving credit facility. The deal is expected to close by the start of the fourth quarter of this year.
