Gas Outage Hits Abu Dhabi

Qatari gas supplies to Abu Dhabi and the northern UAE through the Dolphin pipeline will be cut Monday, but supplies to Oman and Dubai will not be interrupted, a Dolphin official told Oil Daily last week. Dolphin said last year it would cut Qatari gas imports to 1.6 Bcf/d from 2 Bcf/d to carry out scheduled maintenance starting on Jan. 26. Work will take about a month.
