Dutch oil trading giant Trafigura is preparing to settle a class action lawsuit brought in London on behalf of more than 30,000 citizens of Cote d'Ivoire who were allegedly poisoned by waste shipped to Abidjan in 2006, according to a statement issued on behalf of both sides.But Trafigura, which shipped the slops from Amsterdam, still faces litigation in the Netherlands for allegedly exporting hazardous waste.
