China Selects SPR Site

China’s National Development and Re- form Commission (NDRC) has chosen Chi- na’s Guangdong province as one of the sites for the second phase of the country’s strate- gic oil storage stockpile. Li Miaojuan, director of the NDRC in Guangdong, said Monday that preliminary studies continue and construction has yet to start.
