E&Ps, drillers and rigs are down for the count

Like a crippled ship of the line, more of the industry is drifting into the inky black depths. A spike in oil prices in early March has done nothing to help. Oil companies have guided production lower, drillers are running bare bones operations and horizontal rigs are simply not in demand.
