When denver-based enCana oil & Mamm creek field on the southeastern flank of colorado's piceance basin in february 2001,production was 23 million cubic feet (MMcf)of gas per day from tight ceretaceous sandstones in the mesaverde formation.Today,production has increased ten-fold,to more than 230 million per day,gross,and 200 million net to EnCana.
