Robert D. Gunn, founder and chairman of Gunn Oil Co. in Wichita Falls, Texas, is a nationally recognized geologist who sen>ed as president of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists in 1978-1979, as well as president of the North Texas Geological Society. His company has historically been an active generator of drilling prospects, with operations in the Texas Panhandle and eastern shelf of the Permian Basin, in conventional plays. It also has interests in Colorado, New Mexico and other parts of Texas.
