WoodMac: China's unconventional gas challenges mount

While long-term growth in shale gas and coalbed methane (CBM) in China is expected to be robust, the energy industry cannot compare China's unconventional-gas development with that of the U.S. due to China's unique set of challenges. This is according to Gavin Thompson, director of China Gas Research at Wood Mackenzie, who spoke at the recent GASEX 2010 conference held in Taipei, Taiwan.
