Lebanon and Israel dispute major gas find

Lebanon and Israel look like becoming embroiled in a row over which country has the rights to a number of newly-discovered offshore gasflelds. Exploration has so far only taken place in blocks allocated by-Israel, but recent announcements of major new finds on these blocks have prompted claims by Lebanon that some of the fields that have been identified lie under its own territorial waters.
