As the prices of liquid fossil fuel continuously go up, and the global concern over preserving a healthier and greener environment rises, some European and Asian countries have taken assertive steps in switching to CNG as an alternative fuel for powering their vehicles. There are several factors that make use of CNG as motor fuel more advantageous than liquid fuels such as gasoline or diesel. First of all, CNG is usually 30-50 percent cheaper than gasoline. It's lighter than air so if it leaks it first rises and dissipates into atmosphere, whereas other fuels puddle on ground.
