Canada remained the world's third-largest natural gas producer last year but its gas output declined at a faster rate than any other country, according to BP p.l.c.'s annual statistical review of world energy. The Daily Oil Bulletin, quoting BP's annual statistical review of world energy, reported that gas production in Canada fell forthe fourth consecutive year in 2010 to 159.8 billion cubic metres. That still placed the country third on the world's producing countries list behind only the United States (611 billion cubic metres, up4.7 percent from 2009) and the Russian Federation (588.9 billion cubic metres, up 11.6 percent from 2009), reported the Daily Oil Bulletin, a sister publication to Oilweek.
