For the first half of 2002, the total bonuses from provincial land sales in western Canada have drop9ped 59% from 2001, reports Canadian Discovery Ltd., the Calgary-based consulting firm. On a total bonus basis, producers and agents paid CUS394.9 million for provincial leases and licenses during the first half of 2002, compared with CUS957 million during the first half of 2001.
