This is why the application of new ESI designs has been growing continuously. An intelligent ultra-high speed PMX ESP has beet designed specially for wells with low and medium produc tion rates, and is equipped with a permanent magnet motoi Permanent magnet motors are well-known in the industry dui to their high efficiency, significant torque and wide operatinj range (low speed-up to 1,000 RPM, standard speed-up t< 3,000 RPM, and high speed-up to 6,000 RPM). The name PMX takes its origin from the English tern "Permanent Magnet" combined with the Roman numeral 3 and a dash above it, denoting 10,000, which is the nameplau speed of described units.
