Samotlorneftegaz Tests New Technology to Speed up Putting Wells into Operation

Samotlorneftegaz, a Rosneft subsidiary, conducted pilot testing of technology of frac sleeves activating in horizontal wells with the use of soluble frac balls. According to the company, new technology allows to reduce develop-ment terms after a multi-stage hydraulic fracturing (MSHF) from 18 to 8 days for each well and speed up putting wells into production.
