Vyksa Steel Works Develops New Steel for Oil and Gas Pipelines

Specialists of Research and Development Center of Vyksa Steel Works JSC (part of the United Metallurgical Company, OMK ) has developed a new tubular steel for welded oil and gas pipelines with the improved corrosion resistance and operational reliability, 05HGB-low carbon steel alloyed with manganese and chromium with the addition of microalloying niobium additive.
