Answer the Call - the SPE's 'Call for Papers' for Arctic and Ectreme Environments

The conference season is up and running again and I'd like to draw your attention to one the upcoming "Call for Papers" deadline for the 2nd SPE Arctic and Extreme Environments Conference and Exhibition. You have until March 4 to submit papers for consideration at this high profile professional event. SPE Arctic will take place in Moscow on 15-17 October 2013. This year's theme is: "Science and Industry Collaboration for Crossing Arctic Frontiers". Oil&Gas Eurasia is the official publication of the 2nd SPE Arctic and Extreme Environments Conference and Exhibition. So I'd like to give the floor to three program committee co-chairs to explain a bit about the value of participating. Those co-chairs inplude: Vladimir Vovk, of Gazprom, Renaud Gauchet, Total E&P Russie, and Anatoly Zolotukhin, of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. And here's what they had to say in the "Call for Papers" announcement: The first event, in 2011, was very well received and featured over 60 papers across 10 technical and three plenary sessions. The papers covered a wide range of issues associated with fields in the Arctic and extreme environments including: innovations, investments, environmental protection and business social responsibility.
